We're delighted to invite you to this month's webinar with the focus on "New ways of working with volunteers".

We can all agree that we can't go back to the old way of working with volunteers. Our audience is changing as they become younger and they would like their time for volunteering to be used more flexibly. We can also agree that the pandemic has demonstrated that there is so much more that volunteers can do within acute and community settings. With that in mind, we believe it is now the right time for volunteer leaders to think strategically of how they should work with volunteers in the forthcoming years.

We're honoured to have two distinguished speakers who will join this webinar to share with us their insights on this topic:

  • Rob Jackson - a consultant who has more than 26 years experience working in the voluntary and community sector, holding a variety of strategic development and senior management roles that have focused on leading and engaging volunteers. Rob will be sharing his thoughts on:

    + Policies for returning volunteers;
    + A short-term volunteer slump?;
    + Frictionless volunteering;
    + Building back better; and
    + Rethinking the role of volunteers in society.

  • Barry Pridmore: the new chair of the National Association of Voluntary Services Managers, and also the Head of Volunteering at the Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. Barry will be sharing how volunteering is evolving and how the improved practices are benefiting volunteers themselves as well as patients and staff.

We hope you can join this webinar and please feel free to invite your colleagues to this event.
