Hi All
Apologies if this is a bit random, have you considered using Microsoft Teams. It was by chance I found the shift app, which individual team members can log in etc. When in Teams go to the left navigation pane - activity, chat, teams etc. on the three dots click into this and you should find the shift app. The app can also be pinned so it remains in the navigation pane. It may need a bit of tweaking to fit however someone maybe able to review to see if it meets the needs for Homerton.
Kind regards
Sue

Hi Sal, I think the volunteers in Kingston use the My Impact app to clock in and out of sessions

@Sue StoneThank you so much for this information Sue. I will have a look on TEAMS to see if this may be able to be used.

Hi Dawn
Here at Salisbury at the start of Covid we purchased Pro-Visit ProVisit Visitor & Contractor Management System | ProVisit. It was challenging to get volunteers to use it, but it has been invaluable and is able to give us data on hours volunteers have given, hours departments/locations have received etc. Teams wasn't an option for us at the time and we don't use Better Impact or similar. It is a screen just like patients use and our Hospice used it during covid to log in their visitors.
Hope this helps

Hello all
Can anyone help @Dawn Budge with her query about sign in devices for volunteers?
I have been looking for a sign in device for the volunteers to use at Homerton. I was hoping to use something similar to what the patients use to ‘check in’ but I was told that wouldn’t be suitable. Do you know of any other Trusts that use some kind or iPad or QR code for their volunteers to check in and out of their sessions?
We are still currently using just a sign in folder at the main reception so I am open to any ideas.
Many thanks
