100% of staff agreed or strongly agreed that volunteer support is helpful in allowing enough time to deliver good quality care (n=13).

Further, comparing staff responses between those who had volunteer support and those who did not, 6% more staff reported they were happy with the quality of care they gave to patients when they were supported by volunteers, 44% more staff reported they felt their role made a difference to patients, and 27% more staff stated they were able to deliver the care they aspired to.
