Webinar: How volunteers can support hospital discharge

Some patients who are ready to be discharged from hospital may not be able to return home if they are unable to access the local support they need. Skilled volunteers can help to ease the transition from hospital to home.

In this webinar (see below for the recording) you will hear from two volunteer leaders who have successfully set up a volunteer discharge support service. Val Ewan from NHS Tayside and Bianca Larch from Kingston Hospital NHS FT share the impact that volunteers have been making and the learning from their respective projects.
