Webinar: How place-based volunteer support can respond to health and social care priorities

24th January 11:00am - 12:00pm

RS7767 pp

Join us for this webinar to hear about a fantastic case study showing how Cornwall's voluntary sector is collaborating with NHS partners, as part of the Integrated Care System, to deliver greater impact for its residents.

We will be joined by colleagues in Cornwall, both from the voluntary sector and Integrated Care Board, who will share their experiences and learning from the programme:

  • Why and how Cornwall formed a network of Community Hubs - a broad spectrum of place-based VCSE organisations offering a range of vital frontline services
  • How a single point of access for voluntary and community sector help and support – the Community Gateway – is supporting people from 8am-8pm 7 days/week
  • The key elements that allow the Community Hubs to act as a cohesive network
  • How this is addressing the system’s strategy and priorities, unlocking ICB funding for the VCSE sector and grass root groups in the Community Hubs
  • Identifying learning for commissioning similar networks.
  • Work to date including people reached and impact made – Helpforce Insight and Impact team will share highlights from the evaluation report
