Hi Geoff
Thanks for posting your query. We're going to highlight this thread in tomorrow's weekly digest and I've asked our team to share any insights from project work they are involved with.
Hope to have some suggestions for you soon,
Best wishes
Sally

Hi Geoff
This doc might be useful - Social Prescribing and Community-based Support - it's a guide & toolkit published by Community First Yorkshire.
All the best,
Sally

@Sally WilliamsThanks Sally , our project is in it's infancy and have recruited 5 volunteers so far who are ready to go. We are now at the stage where we are considering the referral and management expected from VCS organisation, the document highlighted is very useful

I'm part of a partnership project between NHS Trust charity working alongside the city’s Social Prescribing Service to help tackle loneliness, isolation, depression and anxiety. We recruit, train, manage and support volunteers who will then undertake assignments to support the social prescribing service. Anyone doing something similar? We have just started our first volunteers and my question relates to how the process between the the social prescribing Link workers and the NHS Trust volunteers works. Do the link workers communicate new assignments direct with the volunteers or via NHS Trust admin support? How is the induction process managed ? I'd be very grateful if anyone has experience of this type of project
