We have a stroke-befriending project which over the past few months during the pandemic has been supporting people recovering from a stroke via Zoom etc. We are now looking to start the volunteer befriending to meet people face-to-face. Does anyone have a risk assessment for restarting volunteers back doing face-to-face work?
Thanks

Hi Ian,
Thanks for posting. Just checked with @emmawimpress and she shared this document that she used to do the risk assessment for her face-to-face volunteering roles. Emma is also happy to answer any questions, so please feel to post them here. Thanks so much Emma and Ian

Hi

Happy to help if anyone needs any advice. We have a lot of ‘mitigation’ at the hospital and have had volunteers patient facing throughout COVID so it was quite easy for us. I know some services are struggling with getting the right PPE for their volunteers which will have a huge impact.

Yes we do, is this for face to face contact in peoples homes ? So important to support this vulnerable cohort of volunteers.
