Most of our volunteers in Torbay fall into the over 70's bracket which has severely limited us with the roles that we are able to offer them without putting them at risk. A lot of them are really keen to return to volunteering in some capacity whether in the hospital or remotely. I was wondering what other roles, other than telephone befrienders, do Trusts have in place or are planning to introduce so that volunteers over 70 or those more vulnerable are able to contribute in some way?
