“MARY, MARY HOW DOES YOUR GARDEN GROW, WITH SILVER BELLS AND A LOT OF LOVE FROM VOLUNTEERS”

As a volunteer gardener you will carry out a range of general gardening duties including, but not limited to weeding, dead heading, and hoeing, planting, pruning, grass cutting and watering, transplantation and dividing. Our gardeners are active, reliable, committed and able to tend to gardening work, such as fertilising and mulching, clearing pathways and keep the garden area tidy. Some knowledge of basic plant and soil knowledge, plant identification and garden maintenance experience required.

Would suit:

Someone who has experience of working within a public or private garden or within the horticultural industry or a keen interest and knowledge in domestic gardening that’s a bonus and knowledge of working with gardening hand tools.

Commitment:
Usually one morning, afternoon or evening per week.
