The Future of Integrated Care in England

The NHS Confederation published a report into the Future of Integrated Care in England.

The report focuses on the renewed enthusiasm for integration as a response to the pandemic and the need to put Integrated Care Systems onto a statutory footing.

There is some really interesting stuff on the need to create a statutory objective of setting shared objectives across systems. We, obviously, would like to see a commitment to volunteering being one of those shared objectives.

It's a good report and signals some interesting directions that Integrated Care could take.
