Webinar: Ageing Better

Ageing Better is a Lottery funded programme which aims to support people aged over 50 who are experiencing or at risk of social isolation and loneliness, so that they can lead more fulfilling lives and be better connected to their communities.

We were delighted to welcome on 22 February 2022, two project leads from the Ageing Better programme who shared with us the key themes and learning from this important work.

Natasha Hart - Active Citizenship Supervisor for Ageless Thanet and John Arcus - Ageing Well Programme Manager in Torbay talked about their projects and how, with the creativity of local people volunteering, they found ways to successfully engage with people aged 50+ and provide opportunities for active involvement in their local community.
