Running the extra mile on a treadmill

Wendy Radcliffe is a brilliant example of someone who gives their time, their talents and their enthusiasm to support Trinity Hospice. Her role within the hospice is invaluable, keeping it carefree and available to all those who need it.

At a time when all fundraising events had to be cancelled, Wendy teamed up with her dressmaker daughter, Kerry Dewhurst, making face masks and selling them for £2 each to boost hospice funds.

When she wasn't physically able to go into the hospice due to the pandemic, she found another innovative way to support us, literally 'running the extra mile' on a treadmill, at home, at a rate of 10km a day to raise more funds.

The total raised so far is over £2,000 through her Just Giving page.
