Hi Jo, I don't work for a trust, I work for a council. We offer 2 days per year for volunteering, and am going to have a chat with my manager about trying to use that time for those willing, for the service I am setting up. A staff member has approached me to ask if she could use her days, so I am definitely going to see what I can do!

Having come not from a trust, but from a Hospice whose employment reflects that of a trust, we didn't get any volunteering days so I assumed Trusts wouldn't get them. It'd be interesting to know if Trusts do offer that though!
