GOVERNOR VOLUNTEER CHAMPION to represent Voluntary Services at Governor’s meeting and be a Champion to our regular volunteer team

Hours/Days: As needed, but is flexible depending on your availability

Period: Due to the nature of this role, a minimum of 12 months is helpful for this
position

Duties: The role of Governor Volunteer Champion is to be an inspirational beacon for our volunteer team who donate their time and energies to support our patients. You will also represent Voluntary Services and be the voice of volunteering at Governor level. In doing so, your name and signature will be included in volunteer’s welcome letters, you will be asked to judge and present the Annual Volunteering Award and invited to attend and speak at celebratory and social events to meet existing and potential new volunteers.
