Pets as Therapy Volunteers taking their dogs to visit patients on wards.

Hours: Usually varies from 1/2 hr to 2 hours per visit Duties: To bring your dog(s) to visit patients within specific wards on a regular basis.

Requirements: Our PAT dog volunteers bring real joy to our patients and staff when they visit with their dogs - either on wards or at various patient events. To become a P.A.T. Volunteer, you will need to have owned your dog for at least 9 months and to first register online with the national Pets as Therapy Association via their website at www.petsastherapy.org.

Are you reliable, non-judgemental, warm, friendly and a good listener with a good sense of humour and good communication skills? If you would you like your dog to bring happiness to others, then you could be the volunteer we are looking for.
