Voluntary Assistant Psychologist (VAP) for Graduates to support a Psychology Team in the provision of clinical psychology services

Volunteer Title: Voluntary Assistant Psychologist (VAP)

Hours: One 7.5 hour day per week (on the same day each week for a 6 month period (You choose to volunteer on the day which best suits you and the team)

Duties: Volunteering and supporting the Assistant Psychologist (who may be Clinical or Forensic) and their team with their duties, which may include: Assisting in patient sessions, general admin, data input, research and preparation of materials.

Requirements: You must be a Psychology Graduate with a 2:1 or above (or a 2:2 with a Psychology Masters), from a British Psychology Society (BPS) approved university. If you would like to gain valuable experience in a leading psychological setting, are organised, reliable, hardworking, dedicated, are proficient in MS Office and SPSS, can regularly attend the same day each week for a 6 month period, are able to use your initiative, work well within a team, are non-judgemental, have a good sense of humour and good communication skills, then this could be an excellent opportunity for you.
