Young people bring fresh ideas, enthusiasm and skill-sets that can offer huge benefits to volunteer teams in health and care settings. In return they can gain experience which builds self-confidence, provides opportunities for development and offers a chance to contribute to their local communities.

How can organisations attract young people, especially those who may not traditionally consider volunteering, and provide the support that will encourage them to continue with their volunteering as part of everyday life?

This webinar took place on Thursday 20 June 2024 and our speakers were:

  • Emily Sack, Volunteering and Skills Coordinator at the University of Bristol Students’ Union
  • Ashleigh Key, Volunteer Coordinator at The Royal Wolverhampton NHS Trust

Watch the video recording below to hear how these two organisations have been successfully supporting and motivating young people and how their volunteer teams have flourished as a result.

The presentation slides are also available below.
