We are on a hunt for individual volunteer stories that convey the positive impact of healthcare volunteering on services, patients, staff, and volunteers themselves.We know that volunteering service leads often face challenges when seeking funding, especially in finding the right 'human interest' stories to illustrate the tangible benefits that their programmes deliver and inspire further investment.
That's why we are asking our 900+ Helpforce Network members to actively share with us individual volunteer stories, which can then be published on our website to be used by other members when developing applications for similar services.
Why are we carrying out this initiative?
By undertaking this initiative, we hope that powerful individual volunteer stories can make funding applications more relatable and help decision makers to better understand the significant benefits that volunteering initiatives bring to individuals, staff and organisations.
