Gardener for courtyard garden - Role description

Role Name / Task

• Volunteer Gardener

Purpose of Role

• Regular upkeep of Specialist Palliative Care Ward courtyard garden area

Duties to be undertaken

• At present, the garden just needs cutting back, weeding and maintaining. In the longer term the garden is going to be renovated so will be slightly easier to maintain but will still require regular upkeep.

Skills / Attributes Required:

• We are looking for a volunteer with gardening interest or experience to help in the courtyard garden.
• They would need to be discreet and mindful that patients use this area as a quiet, reflective space
