Voluntary Services Manager and Work Experience Lead. I have been with Salisbury NHS Foundation Trust since 2004. When I joined I knew nothing about managing volunteers and the complexities they bring. What a steep learning curve that was! However, the job still brings me enjoyment, the public who offer their help bring me much joy, the staff I work with across the Trust are always thankful for volunteers support and the patients are always grateful. I have come to learn support from your Senior Management Team is essential, with their backing you can do almost anything.
