I am the Volunteer Lead at Bradford District Care NHS Foundation Trust, I have managed volunteers within the NHS for more than 10 years. Today my volunteer services are split into two provisions. I have a service which has 150 volunteers running a programme of more than 70 health and wellbeing activities in the community. My second area of focus is growing volunteering within our Trusts services, both in mental health and community services. I am a keen champion of developing volunteering within mental health and community services as we experience different challenges and have different opportunities to acute Trusts.
