Darin is on secondment from Plymouth City Council to NHS Devon CCG. His role is to explore how the NHS and the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector (VCSE) can work much more closely together to better support local people and communities in Devon. He has over 13 years worth of experience working with the VCSE in Plymouth in a Council that has integrated health and social care staff. His role is embedded within the VCSE sector, enabling better insight and clearer understanding as to where the many VCSE projects and services can better link with colleagues in the NHS and social care. The role will also develop a more strategic approach to how close cross sector collaboration leads to better health and wellbeing outcomes.
