Over the course of the Volunteer to Career project....
The proportion of staff agreed or strongly agreed that volunteers improve the working life of staff increased from 44% to 88% (n=9 pre, n=17 post).The proportion of staff agreed or strongly agreed that volunteers supported them to feel less stressed when they were busy increased from 22% to 65% (n=9 pre, n=17 post).
