Increased time spent with a volunteer correlates with increased patient wellbeing.

89% of those who had volunteering support for 30+ minutes strongly agreed that the volunteer cheered them up / improved their mood, compared to 73% of those who had volunteering support for up to 30 minutes.

90% of those who had volunteering support for 30+ minutes strongly agreed that the volunteer cheered them up / improved their mood, compared to 70% of those who had volunteering support for up to 30 minutes.

Both differences are statistically significant.
